We're seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our enthusiastic team and help us nurture bright, healthy smiles for future generations.
Responsibilities:
Assist Pediatric Dentist: Help our friendly pediatric dentist with fun and engaging procedures like cleanings, check-ups, and treatments.
Patient Care: Make dental visits enjoyable for young patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy.
Sterilization and Sanitization: Keep our environment safe and sparkling clean with top-notch infection control measures.
Chairside Assistance: Keep things organized and ready by arranging equipment, instruments, and materials for procedures.
Record Keeping: Use our cool digital systems to accurately document patient information, dental history, and treatment notes.
Radiography: Capture dental x-rays with the latest digital radiography equipment.
Patient Education: Teach parents and kids about oral hygiene and treatment plans in a fun and friendly way.
Infection Control: Follow safety and infection control guidelines to protect the health of our patients and staff.
Team Player: Work with a diverse and friendly team, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
*Please note the role at our Lake Mead location requires you to work across various areas, potentially visiting multiple practices in a day. If you do work at multiple practices in a day, you will be compensated at the daily Nevada mileage rate on your paycheck.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred but not required.
Pediatric dental experience or a strong desire to work with children.
Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
