Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Private Duty - Full-Time
Location: Maryville, TN
Job Overview: Join Adoration Health as a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide full-time skilled nursing care in Maryville, TN. This role involves caring for a pediatric patient, ensuring their comfort and well-being with a focus on G-tube management, vesicostomy care, ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and incontinence care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care, including G-tube and vesicostomy management.
Assist with ADLs and provide incontinence care.
Administer medications, treatments, and medical procedures as prescribed.
Monitor and document the patient’s condition and progress.
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members.
Educate the patient and their family on health care and self-management.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Schedule:
Full-time hours
Sunday, Thursday, and Friday
Shift options: 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 AM - 10 PM
Qualifications:
Active LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
Minimum of 1-year nursing experience, preferably in home health or private duty.
Experience with G-tube, vesicostomy care, and incontinence management.
Strong clinical and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR certification.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:
Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
Active CPR certification
Familiarity with electronic health records
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
