Eastern Waste Services is a growing commercial & residential waste collection company. We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic for our fleet. We will entertain applicants of various skill/experience levels - A, B or C. Starting compensation will be commensurate with experience and capability.Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.*Willing to train and develop if you are a B or C level mechanic so you gain technical skills. Will compensate A level mechanics at a very attractive rate. *Responsibilities include:* Preventative Maintenance* Diagnostics* Correcting vehicle / engine defects* Record keepingJob qualifications include:* Knowledge of hydraulics* Experience with various vehicle and engine types* Able to work independently* Excellent work ethicASE Certification is preferred.CDL license is preferred.Welding experience is also a plus.Compensation will be according to your experience in a diesel technician capacity.
