Design Engineer: Stair Designer

*Job Summary*Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Stair Designer specializing in complex woodwork and custom fabrication design. This role involves developing innovative staircases and architectural woodwork solutions, combining technical expertise with artistic vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD and 3D modeling software, with an eye for detail and precision to bring custom projects to life.*Responsibilities** Create detailed designs and schematics for custom staircases, woodwork, and architectural features using advanced CAD software.* Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to develop design concepts that meet aesthetic and structural requirements.* Develop 3D models and renderings of complex woodwork projects utilizing Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, Fusion 360, Sketch Up, or similar tools.* Prepare construction documents, schematics, and fabrication drawings adhering to industry standards.* Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production and installation.* Incorporate system design principles, interior design elements, and mechanical considerations into comprehensive plans.* Maintain accuracy in drafting, detailing, and graphic representations to facilitate seamless project execution.* Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design, graphic design, and system design relevant to custom woodwork.*Requirements** Proven experience in stair design, complex woodwork, or custom fabrication projects.* Proficiency in CAD software including Rhino, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam.* Strong skills in drafting, schematics creation, system design, interior design integration, and graphic visualization.* Knowledge of construction processes and mechanical design principles related to custom woodwork.* Ability to produce detailed technical drawings suitable for manufacturing and installation.* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.* Creative problem-solving abilities with an eye for aesthetics and precision. xhuatnn This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke projects that combine artistry with technical mastery in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in custom woodwork design.Additional & appreciated skills sets; experience with CNC's, project management & maybe most important good positive vibes - : )Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per weekApplication Question(s):* Please write a cover letter to explain your experience with stair design, woodwork detailing & send portfolio of worksWork Location: In person
