Dental Hygienist

Meramec Dental Center is looking to hire a motivated, energetic, caring professional to provide high quality care for our patients. This dental hygienist will have the opportunity to work with our Periodontist and General Dentists.

``Duties``
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Assess patients' oral health and identify any signs of gum disease, cavities, or other dental issues
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental office environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

```Skills```
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or other dental practice management systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Ability to take vital signs and record patient information accurately
- Understanding of infection control protocols in a dental office setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
