Quality Control Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Quality Control?Coordinator?to join their team. As a QA Coordinator?you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting various cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• 
  
• Responsible for providing status updates to other departments regarding the submission of samples.
  
• Assign and prioritize incoming sample submissions to ensure on-time delivery within a 24-hour cycle time.
  
• Perform systems transactions to release material continuously and troubleshoot issues when delays occur.
  
• Communicate with personnel concerning re-sampling and acquire missing information as needed.
  
• Create and maintain reports including quality data trending and laboratory log spreadsheets.
  

What's Needed?

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in biology or related discipline preferred.
  
• 1-3 years of experience in a chemical, microbiology, or related field.
  
• Proficient with computer programs such as AS400, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds and work in environments exposed to various allergens and chemicals.
