The ideal candidate will support the Project Manager in overseeing all activities associated with the execution of construction projects. The Assistant Project Manager will communicate daily with the project team to help ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards meet company expectations.Essential Duties:Assist in establishing and maintaining project schedules and budgetsCommunicate daily with the project teamCoordinate with architects, engineers, and owners as neededSupport the issuance of subcontracts and coordination of subcontractorsReview, organize, and submit project submittals for approvalHelp coordinate and track material deliveriesParticipate in meetings with city, state, and utility officials for project coordinationUpdate and distribute weekly project status reportsAssist with budget tracking and monthly reporting to managementSupport project closeout activitiesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related fieldApproximately xhuatnn 2 years of construction experienceProficiency in MS Project, Excel, and WordStrong ability to multitask and prioritizeMust be willing to relocate to ChattanoogaBased in Chattanooga; travel to jobsites required up to 30%Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
