*Position Highlights:UW Health Northern Illinois *seeks an Advance Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join the Palliative Care team at UW Health Northern Illinois Hospital in Rockford, IL. Our philosophy is to provide compassionate, supportive, comprehensive care for our community.
Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider needed to expand busy clinic-based/hospital based program with a BC palliative care physician. Experience and certification in palliative care preferred but will consider training select candidates. Award-winning UW Health Northern Illinois Hospital is a 330-bed Top Ten Hospital serving 12 counties in northern IL and southern WI. Outpatient clinic at the Carbone Cancer Center.
*Qualifications:*
· Master’s degree from an accredited PA program or completion of a master’s level advanced practice nurse program.
· Active APRN/PA license in the State of IL and Active DEA license or ability to apply for such a license prior to or upon hire.
