This is an ongoing, full-time need that will involve a mix of patient care in the clinic and performing a variety of GI procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The schedule is flexible but generally follows clinic hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a patient load of approximately 15 patients per day. There is no call requirement for this position.Key Responsibilities:Clinic and procedure-based care with a flexible schedule (typically 8 AM - 5 PM).Provide GI procedures including:Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery vs. laser for bleeder, and injection of varices).Esophageal dilation/manometry (preferred).Small Bowel Biopsy (preferred).Lower GI Endoscopy (preferred).Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid) (preferred).Colonoscopy (required, with biopsy and excision of polyps).Liver Biopsy (preferred).Supervise an APP (NP/PA) in the clinic.Ensure timely and accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system.Collaborate with support staff to provide the highest quality care to patients.Perform procedures efficiently with anesthesia available as needed.Certifications Required:BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) CertificationLicensing Requirements:Must be WI licensed or eligible through IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).Support Staff:1 RN to assist with procedures and patient care.1 MA to support the provider with clinical tasks.1 NP/PA to assist with patient care and procedures.2 Office Staff to manage administrative and scheduling duties.EMR System: EpicSchedule Details:Flexible schedule, typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.No call.Approximately 15 patients per day in the clinic.Procedures will vary based on type, provider speed, and patient needs.Anesthesia available for procedures as needed.Additional Notes:This is an ongoing full-time locums opportunity with no call.The position offers a mix of clinic and procedure days.The provider will work closely with a supportive team, including an RN, NP/PA, and office staff.If you’re eager to impact patient care and seek flexible opportunities, we’d love to hear from you Please apply online or email your CV to in hearing more?
