We have ABOTA attorneys in our firm who train attorneys to become trial attorneys.Job DetailsInsurance Defense law firm is seeking a civil litigation attorney for its personal injury department in both the San Diego and Irvine location. The candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated and have an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Applicants must meet the following criteria:Be an active member in good standing with the California Barminimum 2 years' experience with civil litigation and insurance defense.Have solid academic credentialsMust have a high level of organization, detail orientation and ability to time-manage across multiple deadlinesDemonstrate good judgment, strong critical thinking skills and the desire and willingness to take ownership and control of projectsHave excellent communication, analytical and writing skillsHave excellent client relationsKey Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial preparation.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategy and support client positions.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members.Manage caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.Participate in settlement negotiations and provide strategic recommendations to clients.Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with procedural and ethical standards.Interested in hearing more?
