Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.The organization is looking for someone to be onsite in Watertown for 10-15 hours per week during the spring semester.About the Organization Seeking an Intern: Founded over 70 years ago, this organization works to provide services to individuals with disabilities to improve their quality of life and independence They consistently have partnered with other Boston-area non-profits to assist in bigger missions for many people with disabilities The organization believes in fiscal responsibility and regularly checks to make sure that a majority of its revenue goes back to helping the individuals they serve rather than any other costs The individuals on the accounting team have great longevity; the CFO and Accounts Receivable Specialist have been with the organization over seven years and the Accounts Payable Specialist has been with the group for over a decade Responsibilities of the Intern: Assisting with accounting functions for the organization Helping with digital and physical filing Learning bank reconciliations Ad hoc projects to support finance operations xhuatnn Background Expected of the Intern: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field in progress, or 2+ years of experience in an accounting role Desire to work with a nonprofit organization Availability for on-site work in Watertown 10-15 hours per week Hourly rate:Range from $16-20/hr depending on any previous experience #INDEC2025
