Our client seeks a reliable Accountant to join their stable and well-known company. This position will support day-to-day accounting operations and payroll in a collaborative group environment. This privately owned company offers excellent benefits and makes an impact in the communities of the Pacific Northwest.

Accountant Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and payroll reconciliations for month-end close.
Maintain payroll records for tax liability and payments; coordinate timely and accurate payments.
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Perform account analysis to assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll questions.
Assist with continuous process improvements.
Ad-hoc month and year end support including 1099 preparations and audit support.

Accountant Qualifications
1+ years of accounting experience with knowledge in payroll.
Strong knowledge of GL functions (debits/credits) required.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Sage or similar preferred) and Excel required.
Experience with multi-entities a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business a plus.
Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary: $60k-$65k (DOE) + Benefits
