The technicians we are looking for must seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guestContinuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesComplete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspectionsHonestly assess vehicles and document detailed recommendations of necessary repairs and manufacturer's maintenance recommendationsMaintain professionalism while addressing all customer concerns Review TSB's and other service recommendations and translate them to the customer's needsPolitely and professionally communicate cause and correction for our guest concerns regarding their vehicleComplete wheel and tire replacements as neededFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationResponsible for keeping the branded repair vehicle clean and presentable at all timesMaster MFG-level diagnostic tools (MFG scan tools and subscriptions are provided by CBA) Qualifications Qualifications: Positive attitude and a desire to serve our guest5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanicASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieveCapable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehiclesMeet or exceed hourly goalsMust have sufficient knowledge of traffic laws, understand them and follow themAptitude for learning additional skills and processesMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordProfessional appearance and strong communicationA desire for long-term career developmentPhysical Requirements:Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
