* 13-Week Contract
* 7pm-7am
* Every other weekend

*Pay Details:*

$48/hour blended rate

_Pay Breakdown:_

Weekly travel stipend: $30/hr

Weekly Taxable: $18/hr

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and teaching hospitals. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care systems, acute care practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

*Duties*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Perform venipuncture and assist with diagnostic tests.
* Provide care for patients with infectious diseases and manage acute pain effectively.
* Monitor patient vitals and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
* Assist in the care of patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) when necessary.
* Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

*Qualifications*
* Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
* Experience in acute care settings preferred, particularly in hospital environments or teaching hospitals.
* Knowledge of patient care systems and protocols related to acute pain management and infectious disease care.
* Skills in administering dermal fillers is a plus but not required.
* Strong communication skills for effective patient education and teamwork.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the nursing field.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Travel nursing

Pay: $48.00 per hour
