We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to fill the role of Mental Health Spravato/TMS Technician. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing Spravato and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy services for individuals with mental health disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in healthcare administration, and a passion for supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of the Spravato and TMS therapy program, including scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and delivery of treatments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients interested in TMS therapy, providing information, answering questions, and guiding them through the intake process.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their clinical needs and goals.
Schedule Spravato and TMS therapy sessions for patients, ensuring efficient utilization of treatment rooms and equipment.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations for Spravato and TMS therapy services.
Educate patients on the Spravato and TMS procedures, expectations for treatment, and any potential side effects or risks.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment progress notes, assessments, and consent forms.
Coordinate with billing and finance departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of Spravato and TMS therapy charges and payments.
Monitor and track patient outcomes and satisfaction with Spravato and TMS therapy, collecting feedback and making adjustments to the program as needed.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of TMS equipment, coordinating with technical support as necessary.
Provide support and guidance to TMS technicians and other staff involved in the delivery of TMS therapy services.
Stay informed about developments in Spravato and TMS technology and research, incorporating new findings into program protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare administration, care coordination, or patient advocacy.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients and healthcare providers.
Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment modalities, particularly on TMS therapy (preferred).
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with mental health challenges on their path to recovery.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient needs.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as needed.
