About the Company & Opportunity:Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.• Our client is well known in the construction industry with many current projects• The business serves various industries including public, private, and commercial institutions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region• Views their employees as their biggest asset• Great opportunity for employees seeking work-life balanceBilling Specialist Responsibilities:• Billing Specialist will be responsible for invoicing related data entry in Spectrum (accounting system) - will have quantities' rates, will enter data based on the rate based on labor and equipment categories.• Billing Specialist will email invoices to customers copying Project Accountant • Billing Specialist will pull PO's• Billing Specialist may assist with posting revenue (entering information into Excel - mainly T&M contracts)• Billing Specialist may assist with setting up projects and month end support • Billing Specialist will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects (including assisting other offices with billing related responsibilities if time allows)Requirements:• Previous billing experience required• A college degree is preferred but NOT required if a candidate has the relevant professional work experience e• Previous construction industry is a plus but NOT required • Should have experience utilizing accounting software (previous Spectrum experience is a plus but NOT required)• Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables) • A clean criminal background check and drug screen is required for the selected candidate.
