Competitive Base & Commission Structure Full Benefits Generous PTOJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on the OH/PA Territory. This role is perfect for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the Packaging Industry, specifically with Tight Head Containers, HDPE Canisters, and/or Pet Containers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a defined territory, building and nurturing relationships, and driving sales growth in the Engineering industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organization and play a critical role in our continued success.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the OH/PA territory to meet and exceed sales targets.2. Actively manage and grow a dedicated sales territory that includes a large, pre-existing customer base.3. Utilize CRM systems to track sales, monitor client engagement, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.4. Perform cold calling and prospecting activities to identify and secure new business opportunities.5. Provide exceptional account management to existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are maintained and grown.6. Act as a 'Hunter', pursuing new business opportunities and converting leads into sales.7. Conduct regular territory management activities, including planning, forecasting, and reporting.8. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met and any issues are promptly resolved.9. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services.Qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Packaging Industry, with at least 2 years selling Tight Head Containers, HDPE Canisters, and/or Pet Containers.2. Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive business growth.3. Proficiency with CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer relationships.4. Experience in Territory Sales, Cold Calling, Prospecting, Territory Management, B2B Sales, Lead Generation, Outside Sales, and Account Management.5. Demonstrated ability to function as a 'Hunter', identifying and securing new business opportunities.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large territory and multiple accounts.8. Knowledge of the plastic packaging industry and its products is essential.9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.10. Ability to travel within the designated territory as needed.Interested in hearing more?
