Bondy Physical Therapy (formerly Tim Bondy PT) is a family run business with 35+ years of experience serving Northern Michigan. We are seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants for full-time and part-time positions within the company for immediate start. The physical therapist assistant will work closely under the physical therapists direction and guidance, assisting them to implement and execute an individualized plan of care for every patient. We are seeking passionate candidates who want to be a part of an exciting new venture within an already established business. Responsibilities

Personnel

* Work cohesively with health care team in contributing to a positive working environment.
* Work cooperatively with Physical Therapist.
* Participate in corporate meetings.
* Completes continuing education courses as requested by administration or as dictated by state licensure regulations.

Clinical

* Accept responsibility for the patient’s personal care, safety and environment during treatment.
* Follow established procedures and observes safety precautions in the use and application of all modalities including: heat, cold, water, ultrasound, massage, and electrical stimulation.
* Provide patient and family instruction for home exercise and mobility training programs.
* Modify treatment procedures as indicated within established plan of care and report changes to Physical Therapist.
* Measures and records standardized tests such as; strength, range of motion and functional mobility assessments.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and confers with Physical Therapist in regards to patient status, plan of care and progress.
* Maintain professional dignity and standards.
* Participate in inter-departmental training programs.
* Is available to assist other staff members with treatments as needed.
* Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
* Cooperate in any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

* Completion of a college program with licensure in physical therapy.
* Holds current license in the State of Michigan.
