We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures with precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in diagnostic radiology, with a passion for mammography and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients.

*Work location:* Texas Health Rockwall – 3150 Horizon Road, Rockwall TX 75032

*Work hours:* PRN, working every Friday (8 hours) and Saturdays as needed, when available. There will also be work opportunities as needed during the week to cover departmental PTO.

Qualifications - External

*Here’s What You Need*

*Education*
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology *REQUIRED* or
Associate's Degree Preferred

*Experience*
1 Year clinical experience in mammography preferred

Meet the mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900.12(a)(2) preferred

*Licenses and Certifications*
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Upon Hire *REQUIRED* and
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography Upon Hire preferred or

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography 12 Months *REQUIRED* and
CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire *REQUIRED* and
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly *REQUIRED*

*Skills*
Ability to produce high quality mammography with special views as directed by the radiologist, excellent verbal and writing skills, and ability to organize and analyze information.
