We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at a well established and quickly growing practice in Pelham, Alabama.

\*\*Duties:\*\*

- Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Take and develop digital x-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records using cloud based dental software

- Conduct patient assessments and charting

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality

- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control

- Assist with medical coding and billing procedures

\*\*Skills:\*\*

- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping

- Experience with Curve Dental is a plus

- Strong patient assessment skills

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

- Ability to maintain aseptic technique standards

- Familiarity with medical records management

- Understanding of medical coding for insurance billing purposes

- Competence in assisting with vital signs monitoring
