Location: Onsite; Palo Alto, CA
Compensation: $80 to $90 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for breast oncology patients, providing comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, diagnostic tests, and treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
Ensure seamless communication between patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and social workers.
Oversee and monitor patient care plans, ensuring they align with evidence-based oncology protocols and standards.
Educate patients and their families about breast cancer diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and post-treatment care.
Provide emotional support and resources to patients and families, addressing their concerns and guiding them through complex healthcare processes.
Work collaboratively with the oncology care team to develop individualized treatment plans.
Participate in case reviews, tumor board meetings, and care coordination conferences.
Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure timely delivery of care and patient satisfaction.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college/university Required
Experience
At least 1-2 years related experience
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure and
BLS - Basic Life Support
