We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate *Mammography Technologist* to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of mammography and breast imaging procedures with a focus on patient care, image quality, and compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

*Responsibilities*
* *Perform Mammography Procedures:*
Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and interventional procedures such as biopsies and needle localizations.
* *Patient Education & Care:*
Educate patients on the imaging process, ensuring their comfort and cooperation throughout the procedure. Monitor and respond to patient conditions during and after imaging.
* *Image Quality & Safety:*
Select appropriate imaging parameters, analyze image quality, and take corrective actions if necessary. Ensure compliance with the *Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA)* and other regulatory standards.
* *Equipment Maintenance:*
Prepare, operate, and maintain mammography equipment, performing quality control procedures and reporting any malfunctions as necessary.
* *Collaboration & Documentation:*
Work closely with radiologists to review and transmit imaging results. Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on necessary *Bi-RADS* reporting.

*Qualifications*
* *Education:*
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
* *Licenses & Certifications:*
* Active registration with the *American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)*.
* *ARRT Mammography (M)* certification or eligibility required.
* *Basic Life Support (BLS)* certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
* *Experience:*
Minimum of [1-2 years] experience in mammography is preferred. New graduates with clinical experience in mammography will also be considered.
* *Skills:*
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $52,000.00 per year
