This person will report to the owner. Having knowledge of hay farm operations is desirable, as well. Person will assist in duties such as general repairs, maintenance, cleaning of grounds, buildings, roads and equipment, fixing/building fence, monitoring/moving cattle (with horses or ATVs), and other projects as assigned. Must have knowledge of safety policies and procedures regarding chemicals, equipment/machinery. Must work well independently as well as with others, be flexible, and willing to work some long days, some weekends, some holidays, and available periodically for on-call emergencies.
