The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within the hotel. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and the ability to effectively manage a team of HVAC technicians. The HVAC Supervisor will collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal guest comfort and satisfaction while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective performance
  • Plan and prioritize daily work assignments for the HVAC team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system malfunctions and provide guidance and assistance to technicians in resolving them
  • Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or installations, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs, service reports, and inventory of spare parts
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and housekeeping, to address guest requests and ensure minimal disruption to their comfort
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems, and make recommendations for system improvements or upgrades
  • Monitor and manage HVAC-related expenses, including budgeting, cost control, and procurement of necessary equipment and supplies
  • Supervise and manage a team of HVAC technicians
  • Ensure maintenance and repairs are completed according to customer specifications and industry regulations
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex HVAC systems
  • Enforce safety protocols and provide regular training for team members
  • Maintain inventory and procurement of supplies and equipment
  • Inspect and evaluate systems to determine necessary upgrades or replacements
  • Manage installation projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years
  • Driver License
  • Authorized to work in US
  • Stand long periods
  • Lift 50 lbs
  • Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Certification (HVAC )
