Park City ASC is premier healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in the picturesque setting of Park City, Utah. Our state-of-the-art, 4 OR ambulatory surgery center is made up of compassionate team members who partner with leading orthopedic and spine surgeons to deliver high-quality, exceptional care to our patients.

This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the surgery center. Will train to perform these duties independently and without close supervision.

Job Essentials:

  • Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments.
  • Assemble, protect, wrap, contain, peel pack and label surgical instruments.
  • Sterile instruments and equipment
  • Pull case carts.
  • Clean, troubleshoot and correctly use CP equipment.
  • Perform and record all biological and chemical sterilization tests.
  • Issue and receive durable, moveable clinical equipment.
  • Issue sterile supplies to using areas.
  • Perform inventory duties as required.
  • Verify that all sterilization processes have been completed and met parameters before making equipment available for use.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) within one year of hire date.

*Bonus eligibility: Full-time employment only and must remain in full-time status throughout employment. Other bonus requirements will be outlined in your offer letter.
