    Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain lumber manufacturing equipment, including saws, planers, mills, and other machinery.
  • Move product and materials.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality control.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading lumber materials from trucks and conveyors.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including sweeping, stacking, and disposing of waste materials.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding environmental sustainability and resource conservation.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the manufacturing process.
    Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
