JOB TITLE: Industrial Account ManagerLOCATION: Riverdale, GeorgiaPOSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Industrial Products and Services or Regional Sales Director SCHEDULE: TBNCOMPENSATION: Commensurate with skills and experienceJob Objective: To establish and maintain long-term customer relationships by servicing assigned accounts and providing outstanding customer service. Drive differential growth among Industrial accounts, while optimizing profitability. To reinforce sales management practices to enhance all levels of sales and profit within the branch and industrial channel.RESPONSIBILITIESMeet or exceed sales and profit goals established in consultation with branch managementWork closely with Reliability Service team to optimize the share of wallet opportunities within the current and future customer baseDefine and cultivate the value proposition for each assigned account and create account plans to maximize our product and service offeringsDevelop and actively manage a healthy pipeline that is aligned to the budgeted growth goalsExecute the strategic roadmap to provide a superior customer experience for Industrial AccountsDevelop highly professional sales relationships with assigned Industrial AccountsWork collectively with Centralized Purchasing, Product Line Management, Supply Chain and Logistics to determine the lowest cost to serve and sales strategy for networkWork collectively with Product Line Management and vendor partners to maximize profitability and products offered to the marketCollaborate with the Pricing Team to maximize margins where the market allows and develop a profitable pricing strategy at Industrial AccountsPresent new products and services to customersEnsure follow up with customers on orders and inquiriesMaintain and update customer pricingEnsure customer satisfactionPromote company capabilities to customersPromote Marketing promotions and programs to customersExplain company policies and procedures (warranty information, collections policy, return goods policy, etc.)Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely basisWork with a dedicated team to expand geographic presence and support Strategic Selling PlatformCoordinate order activity with customer serviceWorks with Centralized Credit Manager, for credit approvals on new accountsAttend necessary regional, corporate, and industry meetingsProfessionally represent the company at all times ensuring quality customer serviceAbide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and proceduresSupport corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the companyMaintain communication with management with regards to pricing issues in the marketplaceMaintain communication with management by developing a weekly itinerary and use of MAP reportsEnsure customer account information is accurate in the systemProvide support and feedback to Warehouse Management on shipping issuesProvide support and feedback to Credit Department as it relates to customer accountsMaintain a clean and organized company carProfessionally represent the company at all times ensuring qualitycustomer serviceInvolved in training other associates and acting as a mentorAssist in the development of Annual Strategic Planner to include the sales budget for customer listMonitor sales trends and product performance resultsCoach inside sales associates on account planning to grow accounts and serve the customer more effectivelyContinually enhance sales skills to promote a professional imageOther related tasks as assigned by manager REQUIREMENTSWillingness to work on site (Must live within 60 miles)Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or related & relevant work experienceValid Driver's license and a good driving recordMinimum of 10-years experience in a sales positionMust be able to travel 50-70%Proven ability to translate business needs into growthAbove-average verbal/written communication skillsEffective training and negotiating abilities and the ability to deal constructively with conflictsMust have a high degree of patience with the ability to recognize potential problems thru branches and how these relate to customersExperience using DM 2Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word programsCustomer service skillsCapable of analyzing issues and developing solutionsAbility to be creative and innovativeJudgment and decision-making abilityLeadership skillsListening skillsOrganization and time management skillsProduct knowledgeVendor knowledgeUnderstand how to interpret marking reports analysis, channel products, and customersPREFERRED5-10 years + of Industry ExperienceSun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
