Reporting to the EVP, Operations, this role will oversee and optimize key aspects of our operations, including fleet management, property oversight, and operational processes. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to identify and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and drive organizational success.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Oversee fleet inventory, ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules and registration requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, coordinating maintenance, tracking accounts receivable, and handling property listings.
  • Manage the operational expense (OPEX) schedule, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions from field operations.
  • Monitor and address offline unit exceptions in collaboration with field teams.
  • Analyze large data sets, including financial reports, operational metrics, and market trends, using tools like Excel, Smart Sheets, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Present actionable insights to stakeholders to guide decision-making and improve operational outcomes.
  • Identify root causes of operational challenges and develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Implement and document new processes, collaborating with IT and other departments as needed.
  • Drive change initiatives by building consensus among stakeholders and ensuring smooth implementation of new systems and processes.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
  • 3-5 years in operations management or a related field, preferably in fleet or property management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Smart Sheets, and business intelligence tools; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.
  • Background in the storage or property management industry is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive organizational change.
