Position: Industrial Associate/Warehouse Associate (EXP) Location: Bloomfield CT Duration:6 +months with possibility of extension or conversion into permanent employment Pay Rate: $20-24/hr Education: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent Available Shift timings (You must opt one) 1st shift- 8:00AM to 4:30PM Job Description Following all EH&S and safety policies and procedures Material handling of a variety of components, packaging materials Maintaining inventory, such as the storage of electronic parts Actively to participate in daily housekeeping Performing other duties as assigned Physical Demand: If an item weighs more than 50 lbs., employee must ask for assistance in lifting and/or use the appropriate crane, forklift or other lifting devises Walking, balancing, climbing, standing, twisting/turning, bending/stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling/squatting, sitting, reaching above shoulder height, reaching forward, lifting (maximum 50 pounds), carrying, pushing/pulling, handling, feeling, digital dexterity, wrist flexion/extension, power grip, working speed, talking, hearing, seeing (with color vision) depth perception Must be able to wear/use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Requirements Safety mindset including the ability to follow all safety policies and procedures. Must be able to multi-task, possess a positive attitude towards quality / quantity of product, meet department performance metrics and ability to contribute to process improvements in the group. Ability to work in a warehouse, cross-department and team environment. Candidate must be able to adhere to assigned work schedule, including start time. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of warehouse and material handling functions preferred. Interpersonal communication skills with team members and ability to communicate using email is a must.
