Chief Executive Officer

This position is for the Chief Executive Officer whose responsibility is to oversee the organization, including but not limited to the hospital, long-term care, and medical practices. Reports to the Hospital Authority of Liberty County and will oversee 500 team members through 8 direct reports with an annual operating budget of $300 Million.
Liberty Regional Medical Center is seeking a personable and approachable leader who embodies the organization's core values and will have a focus on team member growth and development. The candidate will have a collaborative style of management that encourages work teams and demonstrates the ability to build relationships. Prior positive experience with Hospital Authority relations, Critical Access Hospitals, and DNV Accreditation is essential.
Liberty Regional's next CEO will bring strong leadership as well as financial experience, strategic planning capabilities along with growth opportunities to progress the organization. The leader will be knowledgeable in healthcare management and have proven experience in Georgia hospitals.
Job Qualifications
Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of a Masters Program in Healthcare Administration or in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare preferred.
Formal Training: Planning and analyzing healthcare operations, financial management, stewardship, providing leadership, managing staff, and working with governing boards.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Nursing Home Administrator License preferred but not required.
Work Experience: Advanced management skills with experience in implementing, facilitating, interviewing, counseling, and verbal and written communications. Minimum five (5) years management experience in an accredited healthcare organization. Experience in developing strategies to successfully increase organizational effectiveness.
