Hire Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $110K- $125K/YR.

Sterling Engineering is looking for an Operations Manager for a leading manufacturer of coatings and related products near Teutopolis, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that has a great benefits and loves to promote from within

Job Duties:

• Drive continuous improvement in the areas of employee engagement, coaching & training, safety, and quality.
• Oversee and positively impact the facility budget.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory, corporate, and supply chain requirements.
• Develop and maintain a high-performance work team.
• Utilize tools like Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
• Promote a safe and compliant work environment
• Work in the LMS and WMS to identify areas for improvement
• Coach & train employees and ensure safety and quality procedures are being followed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of managerial experience in operations, warehouse, or transportation
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
• Master's degree or related field
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
