The Human Resources Director is responsible for developing and executing the overall human resources strategy for the organization, supporting the strategic plan and direction of the organization. Specific areas of focus are recruiting and retention, employee relations, benefits administration, policy and procedure development, compensation analysis, and performance management. The HR Director provides strategic leadership by consulting with the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements:

Ability to establish and implement HR policies and procedures that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.

Function as a strategic advisor to management across all divisions and departments regarding all human resources related issues.

Develop comprehensive and strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.

Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.

Lead efforts in driving employee engagement.

Ensure the accurate and appropriate use of HR information systems.

Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR team by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, retention, benefits administration, and leadership development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

Human resources certification (SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.

A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience managing and leading an HR team.

Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization, acting as a coach and mentor to team members.

The ability to build and maintain a proactive and positive HR team.

A hands-on leader, serving as a subject matter expert who is comfortable updating leadership on key advancements with relevance to our work.

Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills a must.

Ability to multi-task.
