Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Participate in the growth and development a sales distribution network that is capable of consistently selling out plant capacity and meeting sales and market share goals while also meeting profit goals. This includes, but is not limited to, improving market penetration (depth and breadth), adding/improving distribution channels, entering and developing new markets/areas, expanding in-house direct sales capabilities, and in-house salespeople to meet sales goals, and cost-effectively providing those sales sources with the resources they need to be effective.

•Support for, develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to (in cooperation with other departments) align the strengths of the organization with the market opportunities to maximize profit, ROI, and value for stakeholders in the Company. This includes, but is not limited to, development of all product lines to respond to the market,

•Develop and supervise all in-house Sales Administrative personnel and activities. The activities include, but are not limited to, quote preparation, releases and shipments, sales promotions and advertising, external communications to dealers, reps. and other outside entities, Public Relations, and announcements as needed.

•Participate directly in sales (and sales support) calls to internal and external customers, interact with customers, and interact interdepartmentally to promote Company sales and marketing efforts and to strive to maximize value added to the customer.

•Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.

•Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product.

•Lead Commercial needs for quoting enhancements through Ruler development.

•Ensure relevant sales and marketing items are updated into CRM. Enhance usage of CRM to become less manually dependent.

•Enhance Customer Service processes and CRM utilization.

•Create warranty analytics reporting.

•Create warranty registration process and procedures.

•Briefing executive team on sales conditions as needed.

•Participate in establishment of pricing standards for Dealer / Direct channels.

•Maintain historical as well as current data to establish trends in Stoughton sales to be used in making future marketing decisions.

•Attend weekly sales meetings.

•Maintain a stock inventory of all products for salespeople and dealers.

•Participate in 2-day annual dealer meeting.

•Work and communicate in a team environment.

•Follows Quality Business Management System within Sales & Marketing Procedures

•Other duties may be assigned as required by the Company.

Qualifications

•Education: 4-year business degree or equivalent.

•Licenses/Certifications:

•Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

o Minimum 10 years previous experience in sales, marketing, and commercial operations.

o Transportation industry experience preferred.

o Positive attitude.

o Extensive CRM experience.

o Verbal communication skills, including in front of large groups of people.

o Knowledge of how to grow and build a business.

o Written communication skills.

o Computer skills.
