Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. Conducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of electronic data processing software. Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Experience with formal software development practices including the use of software configuration management, coding standards, and style guides. Experience in designing, developing, and testing software using programming languages such as C, C++. Qualifications Required BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10 Ability to create clean, minimal, and efficient websites Demonstrate initiative in performing job tasks Exhibit problem-solving skills leading to sound judgment and quality decisions Greater than 2 years' experience with C, C++ Experience with embedded / real-time operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, other Must BE ABLE TO OBTAIN and maintain a TS clearance Preferred Masters Degree in embedded code development Proficient in embedded software architecture and design Proficient in C, C++ Additional experience with Assembly language Proven experience developing & designing software for satellite bus and payload modules Experience with digital signal processing in C/C++ and using software such as GNU Radio or MATLAB Experience working on government contracts and customers Experience in developing test, simulation, or data processing applications in high-level languages such as Python, Ruby, IDL, or MATLAB Active TS/SCI clearance Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position.
