Here are key areas where you can directly contribute value. You will:

  • Evaluate new business submissions and renewal applications, ensuring they align with company underwriting guidelines.
  • Handle policy issuance, manage daily workflows, and maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Interact with customers and company underwriters to resolve service issues and provide quotes.
  • Contribute to team goals by writing Standard Operating Procedures and suggesting innovative ideas.
  • Interact with customers and company underwriters to resolve service issues and provide quotes.
  • Provide backup support to colleagues as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of insurance.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to three years of related experience.
  • Transportation underwriting experience is preferred but not required.
