Azuki is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the development of our financial strategy, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and operations as we scale. In this key role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial positioning and drive strategic growth across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation, driving efficiency and ensuring compliance at all levels.

Spearhead FP&A, delivering actionable insights and financial models that influence key decisions, investments, and growth strategies.

Act as the primary point of contact for all financial and accounting inquiries, internally and externally.

Design and enforce robust internal controls, shaping policies and procedures to safeguard financial integrity.

Collaborate closely with Legal to streamline operations and uphold the highest regulatory standards.

Provide leadership with regular, clear reports on cash flow, liquidity, and counterparty risks.

Optimize liquidity management, aligning cash flow, forecasting, and strategies with broader investment and financing objectives.

Continuously assess and mitigate counterparty risks, ensuring proactive adjustments to risk management strategies.

Accurately forecast burn rate, revenue, and runway, maintaining real-time visibility into cash and digital asset positions.

Manage cross-business line budgets, aligning resources with strategic priorities and driving corporate development initiatives.

Oversee taxes, sweep accounts, and ensure seamless balance sheet reconciliation while tracking capital gains and losses.

Streamline approval processes for company spending, enforcing financial discipline and optimizing expense reporting.

Direct payroll operations for a remote workforce across multiple states and international contractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Manage transactions and billing for offshore foundations, ensuring compliance and precise financial documentation.

YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT, IF YOU HAVE...
8+ years of relevant financial experience, with a strong emphasis on financial modeling and strategic planning.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Proven experience in accounting and a strong track record in managing financial operations for high-growth companies. CPA certification is preferred, not required.

Expertise in corporate finance, FP&A, auditing, and strategic finance. Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and corporate development.

Proven ability to streamline financial reporting, improve controls, and create approval processes for company spending. Skilled in tracking and booking capital gains and losses.

Experience managing payroll for remote teams across multiple states and international contractors.

Strong ability to align financial resources with company goals, manage P&Ls, and ensure financial integrity.

Proficient with financial software to manage high transaction volumes, including those related to crypto and international operations.

IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE
Familiarity with cryptocurrency accounting and strategies, and experience working in crypto is a nice to have, but not required.
