Evaluate and improve on resin, filming and prepreg manufacturing techniques by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication and materials, conferring with process engineering and soliciting observations from operators.Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement corrective measures.Develop robust set of process KPIs and monitor them regularlyCreate procedures and provide training and coaching to manufacturing operatorsValidate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools or equipmentPlan and execute equipment, process and /or equipment qualificationsOwn PFMEA for process and implement countermeasures for top RPN failure modesPlan and direct maintenance and facility engineers for improvement of equipment. Assist in directing equipment repairs and upgrades.Develop and implement continuous improvement of resin, filming and prepreg processes.Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.Promotes good housekeeping standards and initiates corrective action of hazardous and unsafe conditions in the plant.Special assignments and projects assigned by the Plant Manager.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
