Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU A5E 48's
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's, flexible weekendLength: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract.
Requirements:
  • IN/Compact License
  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath Pulls
  • BLS
  • Conscious Sedation and Telemetry preferred
  • ACLS Preferred
Others:
  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:4
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).**Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
