Summary

The Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer is responsible

for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production

workflows, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key

responsibilities include creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BoM),

developing routing, and utilizing ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) to drive

operational excellence.

Essential

Responsibilities

+ Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.

+ Create and maintain accurate BoMs for all products and assemblies, ensuring clear documentation and revision control.

+ Design and maintain detailed routing for manufacturing processes, ensuring the best production practices for efficiency and quality.

+ Utilize NetSuite or similar ERP systems for manufacturing process planning, scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.

+ Process Improvement: Continuously analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure quality.

+ Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with design, quality, and production teams to ensure alignment on product specifications, material needs, and manufacturing methods.

+ Technical Documentation: Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and process sheets.

+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in manufacturing and provide regular reports to management for decision-making.

+ Ensure all processes comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

Responsibility

No managerial responsibilities.

Work Environment

+ Work is performed in a combination of office and manufacturing environments.

+ May require occasional travel to other company locations or supplier sites.

+ May involve exposure to hazardous materials or environments requiring safety precautions.

Position Type/Expected

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As job duties demand, evening and

weekend work may be required.

Required Education

and Experience

+ Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a mechanical or industrial environment.

+ Proficiency with NetSuite or other ERP systems is highly preferred.

+ BoM & Routing: Strong understanding of Bills of Materials and routing processes in a manufacturing environment.

+ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to implement effective solutions.

+ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

+ Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

+ Excellent communication and project management skills.
