Responsibilities
•Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion
•Oversee the preparation of safe, delicious food while maintaining a clean, organized restaurant
•Assist in delegating responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
•Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
•Assist in resolving internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved
•Correctly manage and assist team in completing opening or closing duties
Requirements
- Leadership-oriented, or passion for leadership and team development
- Experience in a hospitality-related management or front-of-the-house is preferred
- Strong decision-making capabilities, and above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
- Management and leadership knowledge recommended
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree is highly recommended but not required
- Efficient at planning and multi-tasking
- Good verbal and written communication
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is recommended, but not required
