Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - MEP DesignJob DescriptionWe are urgently seeking Engineers of all levels of experience who are passionate about MEP and have a strong work ethic to join a dynamic team of professionals. You will contribute to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design projects across various industries, including schools, healthcare, business, and retail.ResponsibilitiesDesign MEP systems for regional projects in schools, healthcare, business, and retail industries.Utilize AutoCAD and collaborate with CAD operators to ensure precision in designs and timely completion.Manage projects, work with other engineers or designers, and handle design functions on small to medium-sized projects.Perform engineering designs on large and/or complex projects under the direction of a principal, including interfacing with other personnel working on the project.Familiarity and knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.Desire to understand and learn how to design MEP/FP systems in schools, healthcare, business, and retail industries.Essential Skills5+ years of design experience in the engineering field.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.E.I.T or P.E certification is a plus.Relevant MEP design project experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of HVAC, Fire Protection, Sprinklers, and building systems.Experience with Revit.Understanding of building design, building codes, and MEP engineering.Work EnvironmentJoin the largest Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design firm in the Hudson Valley.
