Reliable Healthcare Associates is a premier staffing agency that prides itself on offering competitive wages. We provide flexibility in scheduling for our staff to work at various client facilities across Wisconsin, Ohio, and Minnesota. For this specific position, all hired Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) will be working for a client in the Wadena, MN market. Due to the extended commute time, all hired candidates would be brought on at $25 an hour. Please note that in order to qualify for this rate, you'd have to reside in Staples or Little Falls, MN. Any candidates who reside within 30 miles from Wadena would be brought on at $22 an hour. Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Wages: $25 an hour Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides quality care to residents in a nourishing environment.
  • Provides individualized attention to encourage each resident's ability to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Carry out assignments required for residents' activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Attends to individual needs of all residents regarding incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.
  • Provides care that maintains each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin and other areas.
  • Performs various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
  • Must be knowledgeable of individual care plans and support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations of the residents' needs, preferences, and report any behavioral changes.
  • Assists the Wound Care Nurse as directed.
  • Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Willing to pick up shifts at our facilities located in Minnesota.
  • You love working with people and handle everyday challenges with a smile.
  • Certified/registered as a nursing assistant in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experienced in long-term care.
  • Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms.
  • Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff.
