Details about this opportunity:

Occupational Therapist for school age children (COTAs welcome)
Full Time or Fee for Service, Flexible scheduling available
Compensation: $60/hour– full case load potential of approximately $100,000/year
Please note this is an average. Rates are determined by service provided, professional experience, and license/certifications held.
Monday-Friday, following school calendar
Nassau County, NY

Responsibilities:

Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy
Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant‘s welcome to apply
Bilingual is a plus
