Locums Sedalia, Missouri, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

    • Clinical Role:

      • Shifts per block needed to be filled by agency: 5-15 ; has 1 w2 and 1 agency covering right now. Needs 1-2 more
      • Expected timeframe for need: May and forward
      • Root cause for opening req: Provider leaving
      • Temp Labor in place and deadline until Oct 2024
      • Will accept board eligible providers (assuming theyve passed first part of exams) or only board certified providers
      • 2 to 3 Providers in clinic daily
      • Providers in clinic M-T, 8a-5p, and on-call after hours. Holding pager 24hr Saturday and Sunday
      • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 38
      • Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 456
      • Total Hospital/Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (monthly avg.): 55
      • Total Hospital/Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (annual avg.): 661
      • OB/GYNs to Provide GYN Coverage
      • OB/GYNs Not Required to Perform Circumcisions
      • OB/GYNs Needed for First Assist
      • Backup Available to the MHAS Physicians: General Surgeons available
      • Nursery Level II
      • Anesthesia: On-Call 24/7
      • MFM: Ability to consult MFM, but no telemedicine service
      • Fetal Monitoring System: GE
      • EMR used in Hospital: Meditech
      • EMR used in Clinic: Meditech Web Ambulatory
      • Current OR days for Clinicians: Monday AM, Wednesday AM, Friday
      • This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need
      • Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8a-5p and call after hours, weekend 24 holding pager
      • Job Setting: Inpatient
      • Types of Cases: Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
      • Board Certified Required
      • Active MO License Required
