Position Title: Grounds Worker

Department: Physical Plant

Immediate Supervisor’s Title:  Grounds Supervisor

Positions Supervised: None

Term of Position: 12 Months

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure SAFETY FIRST for your area of responsibility
  • Perform daily campus-wide cleanup duties in addition to cleaning roads, curbs, parking areas, drainage traps, and side walks
  • Grass mowing, edging, trimming, and flower beds maintenance
  • Collecting leaves and sticks after weather events
  • Maintaining assigned equipment
  • Attend and participate in all divisional meetings
  • Works with other departments as assigned in a positive and cooperative manner
  • Perform other duties requested by the Grounds Supervisor
