Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager - Road Projects for our client partner with experience in one or more of the following: Road Construction, General Construction on Civil Engineering Projects, Utility Projects. Road construction projects involve moving and reinstalling assets. Need someone who can provide oversight to these multi-faceted projects. Will coordinate efforts, define critical paths, track progress and spend to budget, coordinate cross-departmental efforts, etc. Contribute to efforts to mature their PM process within their Engineering group.

  • All projects in Dane County.
  • Long-term (multi-year) contract role with possibilities of conversion to FTE at some point.
  • Prefer mid to senior candidates, 5+ years, would consider 2-4+ of targeted experience.
  • Hybrid role working at least 3 days in office, downtown Madison.
  • As for the role, 75% of time in-office, 25% visiting sites.
  • Soft skills: Adaptable, ready to learn, great communication skills, thick skinned, good negotiating skills, proactive.
