We are currently interviewing for a Quality Inspector, 2nd Shift in Berlin, CTBodycote is offering a $1500 sign-on retention bonusBodycote offers:

- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm Monday - Friday.
The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following:
- Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required.
- Performs calibration of all testing equipment accurately and on schedule.
- Performs audits, weekly probes, surveys, etc. as needed or defined by procedure and/or schedule.
- May be required to complete conformance certificates and/or other related paperwork.
- Meet all specification requirements per BMS.
- Report any deviation, problem or irregularity to supervisor or management immediately.
- Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
- Perform other tasks as designated by position.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card holders.
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one to three years in heat treating industry or related field.
- Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology.
- Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat-treating equipment is desired.
- Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints/specifications, be detail oriented and possess manual dexterity.
- May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases are required.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
