Paint Production Batch Maker

Join our team at OT Dynamics, a leading paint manufacturer renowned for our commitment to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking an experienced Batch Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the batch making process within the paint industry, with expertise in operating high-speed mixers and vertical/horizontal mills, as well as handling both dry and liquid chemicals.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate high-speed mixers and vertical/horizontal mills to produce paint batches according to specifications.
  • Follow batch recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality of finished products.
  • Handle both dry and liquid chemicals safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality control checks during the batching process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in batch making within the paint industry.
  • Proficiency in operating high-speed mixers and vertical/horizontal mills.
  • Experience handling both dry and liquid chemicals.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurement and calculation.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts safely.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with drum handling equipment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Must be a US Citizen or eleigible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Weekends as required.
