Some of the primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Obtaining vital signs and chief complaints while updating the patient’s medical chart.
- Precision and attention to detail in recording health history.
- Collecting lab specimens and conducting point-of-care testing.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and apply critical thinking skills.
- Assisting providers with exams and patient care.
- Setting up for and assisting providers with in-office procedures.
- Anticipating the care needs of a patient (within the scope of your practice) based on presentation.
- Monitoring in-office supply and reporting when items are needed.
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and workspaces.
- Educating and empowering patients throughout the medical process.
- Collaborating with your teammates to provide and receive the support necessary to succeed.
- Various tasks at the direction of your supervisor based on the needs of the clinic.

Qualifications that make you a stand-out Candidate:
- An active, unrestricted License of Practical Nursing is required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on care needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- OBGYN experience is a plus but not mandatory for someone willing and eager to learn.
- Athena's EMR experience is a plus.
