Job Description: As a Quality Control Technician, you'll be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our manufacturing processes. Your role will involve reviewing documentation, managing prototypes, conducting various tests, and guiding our manufacturing team to produce the highest quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Create and review accurate run prototypes and production paperwork, including job reports.
- Develop and maintain detailed documents such as non-conforming material reports, deviations, change requests, and various forms related to quality control.
- Collect and record product samples during production runs for testing and retention.
- Store and track label inventory, and manage label usage.
- Take water samples for in-house laboratory analysis.
- Conduct finished goods testing for Specific Gravity, pH, and Viscosity.
- Ensure proper status labeling of all in-process and finished goods.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and document/report any quality issues.
- Comply with safety and quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform additional tasks assigned by Management for company improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Documents.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and awareness of every facet of production.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read fine print.
- Proficiency in operating basic office equipment (phones, copy machines, and fax machines).
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods (more than 8 hours a day).
- Ability to work in conditions with minimal exposure to physical risks and moderate exposure to unusual elements. (such as extreme temperatures, unpleasant odors, and loud noises)
- Shift: 7AM-3:30PM +/- .
- Pay Rate: $18.00/ hr + depending on experience.
